Trip To Chinatown, Part 2

not anymore since another crybaby complained

GROW UP PEOPLE.

im not sure what kinf of shrimp they were, they were tiny..most lilkely ghost shrimp

pacific and win tropical

i saw them too but they look more like wild cherries. Still not sure though

stopped by WIN/pacific/new world today
Not sure how win normally is but today it was somewhat dead.. some tanks were empty, no plant/shrimp selection but tons and tons of cichlids and goldfish and ofcourse their over-OVERRR stocked parot tank.
Pacific and new world were both pretty good have large selection of fish you cant find at most lfs. Both also have a good selection of plants and to who ever said that its $5 per plant is correct. Though pacific tanks are ... lets just say once you see the plants you will oooo and aaaa but then you will see algae on some older plants and pond snails, somewhat of a turn off but still didnt stop me from getting some of their recently received plants.
New world is GREAT, tons of great fish, EXTRA clean tanks and a great selection of plants. Prices are high on the plants but they look very healthy.
Overall it was great to see what else is out there.. but i think next time i will just order the plants online.. might come out to be cheaper

who ever said that its $5 per plant is correct.

Of course I'm correct. When am I ever wrong? :grinyes: I kid.

As for the $1.50 shrimp, it's at Win. They sell Cherries, Amanos, and Bumblebees (some red, some black) at that price. They also sell Bamboo shrimp for $5, which is probably the cheapest in the city.

Anyway.. king, could you get me the addresses of those places? I'll likely be back in the city sometime soon.

I couldnt find any shrimp at win.. it was empty when i was there. all i saw were cichlids and koi. Maybe i will stop by again later on..

Win definitely sells out faster than other stores, considering their prices are so much lower. I *think* they restock either Saturday or Sunday if that helps.

When we registered for this, didn't we verify that we were over 13?

13 to register, not so to view?

Pacific is at 46 Delancey St (Delancey and Forsyth)
Win is close by at 169 Mott St (Mott and Broome)
