I just found out something insanely cool. My uncle teaches at pretty much the best private high school in the country, and they take trips all trhe time around the world. Well, in March, they are going to the Amazon for two weeks. Lucky for them, right? The best part is my uncle offered me a spot for the price of airfare. My mom already said it is ok with her, and I am so psyched that I even have a chance of going on this trip. My uncle just got back from there, and brought back a lot of fish. There will be a new tank in my future! This isn't set in stone yet, but it sounds amazing!

I don't think so. I'm surprised I even got offered a slot.

I see lots of bug nets in my future. Lat time he went, they brought back 20+ cases of fish.

Sweet remember me if you get any extra Cories man..

I will, Pitt. I have no idea how many of what I am going to be able to even find, much less bring back. My uncle has actually smuggled fish out of Peru (shhh...), but I haven't really gotten into the details yet. I know I will be setting up a tank, not a big one, but I want to bring back apistos, cories, maybe some plecos, and probably some tetras. Angels would be nice, but I'm worried about shipping them.

You know, the crappy part about this (and yes, there is a crappy part) is that I'm going away to college in 2 years, so I won't be able to really appreciate my fish, and I don't know if my parents will be able to take care of wild fish. I can't wait until after college and I don't have to think about this anymore.
