I have a 120 I want to set-up with tropheus. I was thinking about 2 rock piles, one at each end, with T. duboisi and T. Brabant Red Saddle. Would these groups co-exist well together? Would 2 colonies even work?
Thanks.

yep if plenty of retreats are available from aggression..

The setup with 2 good sized rock piles is a great idea, IMHO; it works better to disperse aggression than just a huge one rock pile. When you have this tank ready, please post a few pics; I'm going to cry but I will love to see it!

hey efors i will have the tissues ready for you hehe..

I like mixing dubs in my group, but only as dither fish. They look great as young fish with their spots, but really arent attractive as adults, so I am always moving out older dubs. You might find the same, they look great as dithers but might not compliment each otehr as adults.

yeah i too like the cherry spots they are a nice fish..
