Tropheus sp. "Red" (Moliro)

Hello,

New here and don't post much. I am doing a reef tank now but my first love was cichlids and specifically tropheus. I had a 180 at one time and had 6 of these along with a few frontosa, brichardi, etc. I had to move so I gave them up. These were by far the best fish I have ever had. They actually spawned and 2 made it and grew to about 2 inches before I had to take the tank down. Just was looking around and came across this and wanted to say congrats on aquiring such nice fish. Brings back some nice memories!

Looking those trophs is like looking a little corner in heaven, Pitt! Awesome fishes!!!

I took all the surplus THR and craggy sea-rock and i placed it in my Tropheus tank..

And in spite of my jealosy, what beauties. Can't wait to see the video.

are you feeding spirulina this time? cuz thats what killed last time right?

Yes little brother Austin i am doing it right now hehehe spirulina flakes and spirulina soft pellets they both are made from HBH which by the ingredients is a great quality food source i am thinking of adding some Danichi veggie pellets harder type foods to the setup they say it is great for Herbivores specially Troph's..

So far no casualties and all are meaner than hell..

Yeah i see why you gave them to me hehehe (don't hate Samantha)
