I have scoured 4 forums researching the various DIY set-ups that people have put together. So far I have decided that I will be using an Ideal needle valve, a Clippard solenoid, a perma-seal fitting, brass check valves, and a bubble counter of some sort.
I am having immense trouble finding a Victor 2-stage regulator that isn't over $300 and I have seen that others have found them for $100 or less. I've looked at Ebay and Amazon along with 3 other sites dedicated to selling welding equipment.
Where are you all finding these regulators at reasonable prices? I've chosen Victor based on what many people on forums have reported, but should I be looking at other brands as well?
