does anyone else watch this? i cant wait till sunday! im not a huge vampire fan, but this show has me hooked. i even started reading the books!!!

I just got addicted to this show while on vacation and guess what I don't get HBO at home and can't order it without ordering every friggin chanel offered. I am dying to see what happens Sunday. I guess I wil be stuck waiting for the season to come out on DVD or start reading the Sookie Stackhouse books.

I don't watch it (vampie no pays his cable bills), but I remember a year or two ago when a local supermarket sold True Blood beer (some sorta promotional tie-in I think), and I sorta cringed everytime I passed by it.
If someone has never seen it, it is something that is SO ODD that you just can't help but get hooked on it. Science fiction with a hint of humor thrown in, not to mention vampires with EXTREME southern accents.
im southern (dallas), at first the acting was horrible, but now im getting used to it. i still cant believe that im sucked into this show!!! it is really good, if you like vampires, white trash, and soft core porn!!!!!!! :evil_lol:
My sister just got my mom, both brothers, and myself interested in this. We don't even have cable. Use your computers to watch this you might be a little behind everyone else but it is free. www.surfthechannel.com

Oooohhh..I watched the first one and I bolted upright from my bed when I saw the clock was ticking 6 hours already. I didn't know it ran for six hours.:silly: Anticipating the second one.:clap:
I've read all the books. They're pretty easy dr. office reads (the books you start and finish while waiting for your appointment) but fairly enjoyable. The SD watches it religiously so I'll catch it every once in a while and quite frankly, the "vampire, white trash and soft core porn" comment is PERFECTLY descriptive.
I get this show (we get it on HBO canada) and I am going to start watching it.

OMG I love this show. My friends at work turned me on to it. When they first started telling me about it, I was like eh.. I'm not a huge vampire fan, I think scary movies are way better without them.... so I watched a couple shows.... man am I hooked now... I can't wait for tonight, it's the end of the season!!
