True disposition of Pearl Gouramis

I have one pearl, I think its a female. she is very peaceful. I have her in a 150 planted livebearer tank. she doesnt bother anybody and is a very quiet inhabtant. I'll try to find a pic of her.

heres some pictures of my pearl gourami, just for reference... and to show her with other tankmates. i am sure tho, that like any fish, each pearl may have its own disposition....
1st one she's by a bolivian ram
next is by a black mollie, but i also have guppies, swords, platties and a female betta in this tank, along with lots of babies and snails. used to have 2 kisser, but they started tearing up plant so my sis in law took them.

That's a pretty female, kit :). Ok, seems to me if I keep a male with at least one female, there will be no problems between them and the other fish I intend to keep with them (listed on 1st pg.). I will probably keep to females with one male to see how that goes. Does anyone know if pearls are fish that prefer single mates or harems? I'll be proactive and research this Q on other websites , but I always prefer to have first-hand advice :).

Males have gold on their chest. alot!... if they are not stressed. My pair were awesome! no aggression. well, when I first put them in, the male chased off an oto... chased it about a foot, and then stopped... no aggression after that. Gorgious fish! My male died a few days ago... I'll be getting another soon. the female seems lonely

I have a male/female pair and they are the most peaceful in the tank. The came to greet the new bosemani today with their feeler things (what are those called?) very gently and then left them alone. I Also have danios and brigs snails, no problems. Maybe a pair would be the best option.
