TRUE freshwater crabs

Both fiddlers and red claws are land dwellers, even if they're sold as aquarium pets. They spend most of their time on land and make their burrows there, usually going into the water only to feed.

Even harder with a marine crab called a mosaic crab, too. I searched all last night for anything and came up blank.

It was also advertised as a fully aquatic crab. Frank's a great guy, I met him yesterday actually, but I can't help but think he's misinformed on some of the things he sells.

I've found a forum with a post as far back as 2002 asking about these crabs... they were labelled as mosaic crabs as well, and of course they knew of the venomous marine crabs named such... nothing seems to have come from it.

Ok, found another pet store link, scroll down to the bottom and it has two fresh water full aquatic crabs... again these mosaic crabs "We know little about these guys. They just showed up recently."

They also have Rusty Crabs, which they say survive deep water - so weould be full aquatic. But I can't find much on Rusty Crabs either.

I saw something on a website, a mosiac crab, but it looked a lot different, was bright red and had greyish speckles I believe. Plus it said that it was one of the most toxic crabs in the world...I doubt that Frank would sell that one, probably a different species...here it is...http://budak.blogs.com/the_annotated_budak/2007/05/dawn_at_big_sis.html

Ok... getting closer... Rusty Crabs are apparantly Satoriana Spinigera... but google doesn't bring up much...
