False...best snake experience was in my biology lecture class in college. I sat in the back corner as I arrived a bit late. They passed around an Eastern King Snake, and it got to me last. I had him for a good hour until the lecture ended and the prof came looking for him. I can't say I recall at all what the lecture was about! Very cool snake though.
