It's nothing new. I've seen those for years. My LFS sells them.

can you take the actual tank out and clean them??
is it waterproof?? the wood looking part that is.

Well you can separate the glass from the rest of the construction you just have to unscrew a couple of things and that's it and the wood has a special... hmmm... paint... so it doesnt get damaged by humidity you just have to repaint it every year.

Definately very interesting. I would look great in my house since it's full of antiques. Very cool and they may have been around for a while (so have I LOL) but thats the first I've seen.

Does it have a light so you can get a better view of your fish?

Yeah it has a couple of 20 watt but one of them wasn't on that's why it looks so dim.

Sorry I was so blunt. I think it was late and I was tired when I said that. It is a nice trunk and tank, I just don't like how closed in it looks.
