A couple of days ago i fed my fish the usual earthworms, and bloodworms. i mostly have catfish so they all eat at dark. I fed them shut the light off and laid down for bed. About 20 min. later i here some thrashing in the tank, but think nothing of it. the next morning i got up and my polli palmas was no where to be found. Then i noticed my tsn's belly had a large rounded lump sticking out. :rant2: you guessed it, i found the polli.

Has anyone else had this happen, and with what kind of fish?

1 butterfly
1 bichir
1 purple spotted goby
5 catfish(tsn, indian sun, african silver, syno euruptis, and striped mystus

I had a cory when I was younger that used to eat my tetras...just sucked em in all the way, whole, it was horrible...:(

TSNs are to be trusted with nothing....I have seen them swallow fish 75% of their own size....and since they quickly reach 36", that is almost any tankmate....I would never trust them with any bichir.

Certainly, I have had fish go missing only to discover them in the stomach of a large cat or other predator.
