I bought some of these to give my fish more variety - they come in small cubes and the directions say push them against the glass just below water level. They stick for a minute at most and then they are floating around.

Do they come in another form other than the cubes - and if not anyone have a better way to get them into the tank? OR do you just let them float around - I would rather the fish not eat off the surface of the water.

Are you talking about frozen or freeze dried? Just curious. I didn't know about the push against the glass trick.

They are freeze-dried ... > http://www.hikariusa.com/fd_tubifex_worms.htm

They come in small cubes .. I guess I'll just try to push them a bit harder for a bit longer and see if I can get them to stick in place for the duration.

I use the Hikari cubes too. I just pre-soak'em in a little bowl. Then they'll sink.

Ahhh <smack>, though I do that with flakes, I never thought of doing it with the cubes. Thanks I'll give that a try.

I usually just tear and crumble mine into smaller chunks. When I would finally get it to stick to the glass, the first fish that touched it would make it come loose and then it would just be floating around :wall:
