I just got a tunze skimmer and I am really pleased with it and I think it was worth every penny. I have figgured out that in the aquarium hobby you only get what you pay for and there for, even though things may be a little more expensive, it is worth it in the long run.

I totally agree with you. I just ordered some Tunze powerheads. I don't care what they cost, I'm tired of rebuilding and replacing my cheap ones!! I find myself steering away from DYI projects more and more and just spending the money to buy quality stuff the first time around. If I added up all the time and money I spend on MH lighting projects....................
