My turbo snails keep doing the twaist! lol Every now and then I see one raise it's shell slightly and twist it from side to side quite quickly a few times! Is this normal?

ive seen the do it an not thought much of it. as far as i know its fine. but i can ask my zoology professor if u like
As long as there's nothing wrong I'm not worried although it would be interesting to know what they're doing and why!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
Mine occasionally do it but usually when something is annoying them - like one of my other snails hitching a ride!! They try and flick them off.
