Turning DIY ph measurement into controller with yeast CO2

Hi,

I decided to try and build something so I could read ph values continuously using an old pc. Details see: here.

Seems to work ok sofar, so I was wondering if I should try to turn it into a ph controller. I am using diy yeast co2 and am not quite sure it's stable enough to use with a controller.

Anyone any experience with that?

Dude, that is so way beyond me...but looks awesome! I put together some infra-red motion detectors to monitor ant activity in school years ago (Cornell U. Entomolgy Dept.) so I could see myself doing it at least.
No comments on effectiveness but as for DIY... :bowing:

I don't know if it would be stable enough. I think it would be more a matter of whether you trust your construction or not. I'd be more inclined to try that with a pressurized C02 system.

Nice work on what you've done so far. The SQL database is a great idea, you could whip up some ASP/HTML so you could view your tank status anywhere in the world! Why, just because you can

I'm thinking you would need to produce allot more co2 to be able to control the ph effectively, too much work for me to keep changing bottles and fixing leaks in the long run i'm afraid...
