Hi, I have a pair of baby Red Eared Sliders, and I would like to include three or four week old dalmation molly fry. The tank is pretty well planted, and the turtles are very lax and show no signs of aggression whatsoever. Anyway, can I put the mollies in without effecting the pH levels or harming the turtles or what not? Thanks in advance!

Well thank you. I will see what they do, I have about 20 molly fry right now and only a ten gallon tank, so I have a few I need to get rid of. Better naturally...

Somebody told me red eared sliders would not eat live fish. Go ahead and give it a try. If they eat them, you are not out much.

I second Annageckos, they will at some point eat the fish. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day they will... Like Blue2fry said its not a matter of aggression, its their instinct to eat live prey, specifically fish.

You better save for a huge tank. RES gets big in no time.

The fry will most likely get eaten. I had a female guppy in with my baby yellow bellied slider for the longest time; he never ate her, but when she was having babies, he stalked her around the tank looking for a meal.
