update
I seem to have got this thing working properly. I ended up putting two of the marineland black sponges in my bottom tray, I put some scrubbies and carbon in the middle tray and my bio with a polishing pad in the top tray. Woke up this morning and the tank was clear again, I could not believe it cleared it up that fast. Not really sure why it was not working with the other stuff in the baskets, my be it was by passing some how. But for now this set up is working good. Ill update again in a week or so. Thanks for all the help.
