Just thought I'd share a few pics of my yearling Musk Turtles new setup. It's made from a cheap Rubbermaid tub. I find that these make excellent water turtle enclosures because they are very inexpensive and they don't have tight, hard corners like aquariums. My turtle's old tub was green so I decided to try a transparent one. The Tub is a 40 gallon filled about 3/4 of the way up. My filter system is a Rena Filstar XP-1 canister filter. I also do a 50% water change once a week.

Thanks, and yes it's easy as heck to clean! All I got to do is take the rocks out and I can take it outside to hose out. Plus if it gets too scummy I can just buy a new one. I think that tub cost me $9 bucks at Wal-mart.

I would recomend either putting a strap/rope around the tub or framing it with wood, with the way it is bowing it doesnt look like its gonna hold lol. I really like the set up!

That's realy cool.
Rubbermaid and poly tanks are truly amazing for animals/fish that can be viewed as a top down type view.

I was kind of thinking that too. I might get a few pieces of steel and solder them together and make a nice frame. So far so good. This is the first time I've used a transparent tub, they seem to bow more than the other type of plastics the solid colored ones come in.

I have always loved your Turtle Tub Seth! Good work, as always.

My first attempt at shooting video with my new camera.

Nice, I've used different types of tubs for turtles, and I'd agree with building some sort of frame around it to prevent bowing.
