Two 55 gal - double stacked

did you make that double stack stand or buy it?

I bought it from the LFS that I bought my first 55 gallon from. There whole store was set up with those. I liked it and they had a spare one and sold it to me. For about a year, I just had a tank on the bottom while I waited to put a tank on top.

What is also cool, I filled that first tank with mbuna that were all bought with store credit from selling convicts that I had raised to be about the size of a nickel from a different LFS.

I have thought about building another myself, it is just 2 X 4's that have been routed in the front. It is screwed together, it might also be glued. It is very sturdy.

If I ever take tank pics again, I will do some close ups.

The top is my wife's tank. It has gold fish and two angels (I know, I know). The gold fish were at the bottom, but she wanted to see them. We had to move the tanks around because of another thank.

the whole wife thing.... i so understand... every couple of weeks i have to try having a goldfish in my community tank.. and every couple of weeks they die...
