I just got two Bluegill fish, 4in and 6in or so. The catfish is around 7in.
I need someone to come get them to either keep them, release them or eat them.
I can't keep them and have no idea what to do with them!! I can meet you in Luray, Culpeper and maybe other areas.

Not sure about where you are but around most parts it it illegal to transport live game fish.. Be careful..

+1
here it is illegal to take live fish from the body of water it was caught with the exception of some bait fish.
I understand you did not catch these, but regardless, fish and game may not be happy about it.

Especially if the guy doesnt have a fishing license that is getting them from you.. Possessing game fish without a fishing license or receipt from a distributor could bring on a few other charges as well.

Seems pretty silly to be legally able to kill and eat a non-dangerous fish but not keep it as a pet wouldn't you all agree? I know here in PA once a fish is legally taken (proper licensing, seasons and bag limits, size etc.) as long as you don't try to sell it the state doesn't care what you do with it.

Its not silly because if you remove a live fish from the body of water it was caught, there is then the potential for it to be released into another body of water which it is not already found. Even a seemingly harmless fish could cause an imbalance. Here in NH, we not only regulate what happens with the fish, but you aren't even allowed to transport plants. You are supposed to wash the underside of your boat whenever you go to a new body of water to prevent cross contamination of the aquatic plant life. A PITA, yes, but silly, no.
