Two Crab Deaths in Two Days?

It's so bizarre!! I'm thankful that whatever the dead looking thing was - secret hideaway crab or molt - that it wasn't Myron. Myron was a hitch-hiker with my very first shipment of live rock. He's the first real addition I had to my tank and I love him. He only has one claw so the poor guy is already at a disadvantage.

I'll be sleeping better tonight and less worried when I leave town this weekend. I hate leaving my tank.
 
I just had the same thing happen to me! Found my crab "dead" in his favorite hole, was only able to get part of him out, then I walk over to my tank a few hours later to catch a short glimpse of him scurrying back into his hole, with the rest of his molt on the ground. I just got punked by a crab!
