One of the babies I had is a "cull" so I kept him, hes got 2 tails if you look closely. Like how fancy goldfish have their tails.

Little slow at swimming but does fine, just an oddity that hatched, but not good to send out for others to potentially breed, so gets to live out his or her days in my tank of misfits lol

OK, Noodle, I've stared at your cory's tail & just can't see 2. Maybe if you try for a "butt on" shot, lol...you know I often don't see well. Nice colors though

I enlarged the original pic and stared and saw what fishorama did. o_O

I also now see what she did in the 2nd butt aligned pic. ?

Does it swim twice as fast as the other cories? ?

Actually twice as slow!! Haha he does struggle to swim as well as the other cory youngster I kept, but he eats and explores fine all around. Spends a lot of his time very active, going up and down the sword leaves.

Ironically I have another fish in the same tank that has an extra tail as well, one of my black neon tetras, but she does just fine, she may be twice as fast lol

That's cool. I've seen extra fins on tetras, but the only mutation I've ever seen with cories before is albinism.

Very cool, I have a fryeri that was a cull from a batch I had back in April. His deformity isn’t as cool as that, but his body is shaped funny and it’s growing very slow. I put it in my community tank and it’s doing good tho, active, eats a lot, and does normal cichlid stuff lol glad I’m not the only one that keeps the rejects
