I, personally, love the concept of water bridges. That's what I would go with.

and really mess with your mind when the fish swim from 1 tank to the other

You could decorate one side one way,and the other side another way.Natural gravel and live plants on one side,colored gravel and fake plants on the other. :nilly:

wow, that's pretty cool. I remember a surf shop when I lived in Huntington Beach CA that had saltwater tanks through out the store and they were all connected in this fashion. they even had a tube that circled the upper walls around the store. I would just go there to look at the tank tubes.

who the people or the fish (hahaha). yeah the fish could swim all over the store thru the on going tubes and tanks.
