I know a lot of people who prefer vodka, but I would call that a vodka martini. I like the vermouth debate. 1:1, 3:1, chilled gin with vermouth wiped around the rim. I like the idea of chilled gin waived in the general direction of Italy. Ill take a whiskey martini prepared in that fashion!
