I have two adult Tylomelania snails who spend lots of time together. They are almost always together stuck to each others shell, and sometimes it looks like one may be trying to go inside of the other's shell. So is this typical Tylo behavior do they tend to group together, or is this a mating thing? I have 2 baby Tylos also (not products of the two adults) but they are usually alone when I spot them. Thanks!

i would have to assume that is mating behavior. I do not typically see my tylos behaving in that manner but they are certainly much more active overnight.

I really enjoy mine as well. I have oodles of babies and am tryinig to determine if the different species will interbreed or if they will retain their defining characteristics despite being housed with others of the same species.

Great experiment! I would like to know the same. Let me know what you discover. I need to get a few more. Since I bought the one tylo and briggs from you I can't stop! I am totally addicted!

i have more coming in in the next order! cross yoru fingers this one goes better than the last and I have many more to share!

Sorry- don't want to threadjack... but how much do you think you'll be charging for the Tylos when they arrive? Any yellows en-route?

yes yellows en route, yellow fleck, and yellow antennae (i believe, its never for sure until the order gets here). I also have yellow F1 babies in abundance right now.

You can pm me for more details :)
