hmm im not sure about the existence of aliens.....but i do luv the show eureka. IMO if aliens existed there would be more evidence in the universe. i agree with the Fermi paradox: if there were aliens they would be everywhere(in short thts wht it is). as for the appearance of "ETs" in history, i say ppl see wht they want to see, kinda like Rorschach test. but still fun to imagine acient aliens influencing our lives. cool post
If any of that means anything or not.... not necessary to get into.
I am curious though. The page claims there was a electric light bulb found dating to 2600BC and a battery 500000 years ago. Any other pages actually providing some evidence to that ?
Isn't there a dinosaur fossil with a wristwatch in the basement of the Brittish Museum? They're supposed to have a hunk of coal with a fossilized boot in it as well.
Thanks for the links Joe.
They however show no "lightbulb dated to 2600BC". Barely a picture that looks like one with a lot of imagination. (a picture does NOT equal the actual thing)
I also didn't read anything about a 500000 year old battery. The baghdad battery dates nowhere near that far back. (2000+ years does NOT equal 500000).
More people might give these theories (meaning ancient "UFO"s - the point of the link in the original post) a chance if the people writing about them wouldn't constantly undermine their own credibility by making up stuff.
people didn't exist 500000 years ago, whether you believe in creationism, evolution or whatever. And the probability that aliens advanced enough to travel to earth would use batteries would, I imagine, be extremely low. :
There is howver some kind of mechanical computer type thing built by the ancient Greeks.
