Can't decide if I wanna go bare bottom or sand. Breeding BNs I hear is best with bare because they **** a lot. Maybe just leave the fry tank bare?

I have to agree, that is a very nice setup.
And from what I understand bare bottom is the way to go breeding plecos.

That's all I ever see in breeder's tanks period. It is not attractive in any way...did it for a long time with discus. But is defintiely easier to clean.

what kind of BN? Do tell!
 
Best to keep your pants up since it's a "family friendly" site-I think I read that on the internet..........

I use pool filter sand and I breeed plecos. no advantage or disadvantage to either one.

I know.....I know. The best aqua-scaling ever. Haha shut up its a breeder! Waiting on my caves to get here tomorrow. Not real sure what to do with the bottom until fry. It's kinda the soak tank for my drift wood. Just gonna throw my live plants in it for now.
