Ugly brown algae taking over tank

Can anyone tell me how to get ric of the brown algae growing all over my rock, glass and sand.?

What will eat it? How can I stop if from growing?

It's making me crazy.

your nutrient import is higher the the nutrient export.

what are you using for top off and water changes? just tapwater?

dosing kalkwasser will precipitate alot of the phosphate out of the water, and prevent the algae from growing.

growing macroalgaes will also work. They will out compete the diatoms.

I use only Ro?di water. This all started happening when my RO filters started to change color. I replaced them, but the algae is still there. I top off only with RO/DI water.
