Uh-Oh...

I've been slowly adding salt for the past 2 days. I measured out all of the salt I would need and poured it into the cup i use for tank stuff, then I continue to add water to it (and dechlorinator) and wait for it to dissolve, then I add more water for each batch... I tried to work out a drip system with the fish turkey baster but have ended up just holding the turkey baster right-side up and letting it dribble out into the tank gradually. I do that about once every hour or so, depending on if I'm home or what else I'm doing. I may pull out the heater for the 15 gallon which can be adjusted and run that as well until I get a correct temperature. How often should I be doing water changes?

Of course it never hurts to go slow, but what I've always done is add 1/2 the total amount of salt the 1st day and 24 hrs later add the 2nd 1/2 of the salt. I just dissolve it in warm water and pour it in. The fish probably appreciate your method better but I've never had any losses doing it this way.
