magamer... know any shops that sell the liquid calcium for snails?

I do it is called Safeway ... Go to the pharmacy and it is around $20 for 500ml of liquid calcium carbonate....no perscription needed.

Thanks. How much would I put in a 40 gallon tank with 2 snails? I plan on adding 2 more snails later.

i use seachems liquid calcium for salt water, use less, about half dosage that states for on bottle

Now that I think about it the bottle maybe bigger than 500ml.... been awhile since I bought one but either way I would but say 5ml per 10 gal once a week. I just mix it in with my jello so I have never put it straight in the tank. May have to give that a try and see how it works.

I need to go pick up a new bottle soon since it is time for more jello....
