Just thought I would share my bedroom tank. This is my 6 gallon tank from petco. I took off the top and bottom and added an aquaclear 20 to a side for filtration through bio-rings and cut up Japanese filter mats. I made a trellis out of eggcrate and coat hanger and planted my golden pothos in that. The roots sit right above the water level. There is also a small piece of manzanita driftwood with an anubia planted on it and a mat of java fern. There are also a few floating plants; amazon frogbit, red root floater, duckweed and salvinia. It currently houses a delta tail betta and four 24k gold white cloud minnows. I plan on adding some ghost and amano shrimp in the future. There is also a possibility of snails. I'm hoping the pothos is going to take care of the nitrates and the most I'll have to do is top it off the tank and the occasional cleaning.

That is a pretty nice tank and also a very pretty betta! I like the look and feel of planted tanks and this is especially nice with the plant growing out of the tank to trail down and onto the table. That betta will like the security of those plants for sure!! Nicely done!!

I like it!
