umm halp! corys

k sounds like a plan! ill go to the lfs and see if they have any first bites and try to convince my parents that i need a strainer for my fish:rolleyes:lol
im lookin forward to be a cory mom!

but if that wont work, could i put some media and moss in the bucket and run it like that or would it be risky?

o,and krilorn, sorry bout your eggs, hope you have better luck this time!

It doesn't have to be a big container, but you need air flow for water circulation around the eggs and it needs to be heated. Heating can be a challenge with a small container. Is there any way you can somehow attach and float a small container with the air stone right in your existing tank?

oh dunno why i didnt think of this earlier,i have a large green net one of mmy brother's coworkers gave me and its about 10x7 but im not sure about the holes.it is one of those green ones,i could just place it in front of the filter with the eggs in it.do you think the holes are small enough?

looks like this

It might work if the holes aren't too big. I can't tell you whether they are or not.....lots of nets, in lots of colors, and lots of mesh sizes.

well scratch that question, well my betta just died and i was wondering if i could use an empty 2 gallon for them. they are still i n my 20 long in a jar covered with some netting.
so would the 2 be okay?

A 2-gal would work fine for a fry tank. Just make sure you keep up with the water changes. Fry like excellent water quality.
