The pond with some Triops
Okay... I used a siphon to gravel vac and take out that half eaten algae disk. I had to break it apart. I poured the water down the sink (the one nobody uses here)... I replaced my water with tablesalt water (2tsp per gallon, 2 gal change, 4tsp)... When I replaced the water, apparently the pieces of the algae disk went to the filter with it(I never dump in tank. I dump in the filter). It's like, 1cm by 1cm piece (the whole thing put together)... What do I do?

I'm confused!?

You're replacing some water, but you empty the siphoned water into the filter-on your tank?

???? :help: ????

are you siphoning into a bucket, then using the bucket to replace the water?

turn the filter off..take it apart and remove the piece.

btw, if you are treating the water and keep it close to the tank temp..just pour it back in the tank.
