So I planted my tank about a week and a bit ago, and it seems to be coming along well; the other day, a random tendril of plant came out of the fluorite near my bubbler. I figured it was something that had fallen off and then gotten stuck, but decided to see what would happen... you know, in case something could happen.
Oh, something happened.
WHAT IS THAT!?:help2:
Sorry, that is the highest-quality picture I can get of it. I know it's about as good as bigfoot's picture.
EDIT: More info.
It had a couple bits of fluorite stuck to it, which I brushed off. the tan texture is kinda layered, with the uppermost layers responding to the current and blowing around a bit. It's VERY slippery to the touch.
And, of course, nothing even CLOSE to this is actually in my tank.
Current species in tank include: Bacopa Moneri, crypts, and a dwarf peace lily.
