My Managuense is pickind up the gravel and moving into a pile in the front of my tank is this a normal behavior

lots of cichlids move around there environmet. some reasons are that they are searching for food, or making a nice little indent to spawn in.

thanx guys i was just a lil worried and wanted some answers...i thought it was normal...wht shold i do if he ingests one or is it even possible...and he wouldn't mate with other species right because there is only 1 jag in there and i believe its a boy...

nah he wont eat it, hes just making himself a fancy looking home incase a likely lady happens to swim by.

the gravel in my mbuna tank used to be level. now it reminds me of the Alps

my jags have bared 1 3rd of the tank their in ATM and i annoy them by moving it back lol
they attack my have when i do it but their so small dont wanna do it when their bigger
