under gravel tunnel idea

how bout the type of flexible tubing that aquarium siphons are made out of?

The LFS I go to in Toledo carries different widths/lengths of riser tubes for UGFs, maybe this is something you coud use. I like that Idea of putting it somewhere where you can peek in on their playtime ;)

Awsome.

All great ideas.

I actually was thinking about putting it in the foreground with a 1/4" cut into
it nudged up to the glass, so you could view them from the front glass also to have moss growing on it and the gravel siliconed to it sounds awesome too, maybe a little bit of both.

I definely need to add more interesting things for my fish, they're all inteligent species that need much stimulation.
it's a 29 gallon right now but will upgrade to a 55 or 75 next year.

how do you think these fish will react to the tunnel? I'll post some pics when i put it in.

29 Gallon
my fish:

• 1 Senegal Bichir 5" baby
• 2 boesmani Rainbow (male; female)
• 2 Botia Modesta (Blueberry Loaches)
• 2 Dwarf puffers (nice to other fish - mean to eachother)
• 2 Leopard Ctenopoma ( African Climbing fish) (Petsmart called these Leaf fish.)

Thanks for all your ideas- I'm excited!

The rainbowfish won't care. They're not into tunnels.

When you upgrade would you please consider bumping the Boe school to at least six? They need others of the same specie around them. Six is min, more is a lot better.

ok

About the Botia,

Oned does seem to chase the other all the time.

So I think this is the reason to have more so the dominant one
won't just focus on the one it's picking on only.

Correct?

the bichir will like the hides, maybe too much for the loaches to enjoy it unless you make a few.

I had a tunnel system for my ghost when he was smaller, the loaches loved it, Took it out when he died..
