Undergravel cable heating...any difference?

I've had heavily planted tanks for years, but I've never tried any undergravel heating. Does anyone have any comments on their value? Thanks!

I used substrate heating for years and thought it was a necessary component of any successful planted tank. RTR suggested the same thing John said, so I didn't use them for the newest 125g. They're right. Save your money.
