Wow my first post! so much good info using the search function i never had to post :)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone sells/makes a UGF for a bowfront type tank. I may be purchasing a 26 gallon bowfront that i found and was just listing the equipment i plan to get. I was just having some trouble finding a UGF for a bowfront.

any idea where i can find one? i plan to run it as a RUGF as i like the results from my other tank with that setup so thats what i was trying to stick with.

I dont think they make UGFs for bowfronts, the tech is really old and not used no where as much as it was 10+ years ago. You'll have to use one that is close to the back and side dimensions.

If your 26gal bowfront has the dimensions of the Aqueon model, 24x15x21, then a 20gal High will fit the best.

Just saw your post about an undergravel filter. If you are still interested try www.ReefRenovators.com He makes plenums for saltwater. Which essentially is the same as an undergravel filter for fresh water. In the site you can post a question and ask for a quote on the price.

You may try and order a over sized Under Gravel Filter Plate and cut it to fit your tank.
