Lucid: Sorry, I don't have experience with any foods other than flakes, dried bloodworms, and algae wafers. I look forward to trying some variety though.
Well, now I have two more babies hiding in the plants, while the original baby is now bold enough to swim with the big fishes. From the colors I'd say the new ones have a different mama. I'm doing nothing special to save or destroy them, but they just keep a'comin'! This could quickly get out of hand!
had the same thing happen to me back in november that i had all male fish a little while later I had a couple fat fish and then saw a bunch of baby fish. not expected at all. The 2 female fish died after giving birth and the baby ones died but I still have one that will be a year in november and that one is doing great, think its a male but not sure. Cant get him a friend until my saltwater tank is all up and running. waiting for some live rock

when my fish were babies I used this stuff called First Bites Hikari is the fish food brand, but then again any fish food that is squished into fine pieces would work too.
