I' ve got a three year old red tail shark that is reaking havoc in my tank. I have a 45 gallon tank and he has been killing off the other fish for the last year and a half. The other fish that are left and seem to be the only ones that can survive living with him are three three spot Guramis which are between four and two years old and a four year old pleco. The red tail has nipped at and chased about twelve tiger barbs, two rainbow sharks, and an irridescent shark to death.
I also have a ten gallon tank that I have six neons, two zebra danios and a small pleco in. I was thinking that my only option would be to move the smaller fish from the ten gallon tank to the 45 gallon one with the Gouramis (because I was told that they are community fish) and put the red tail by himself.
I am asking two questions:1) Is this what I should do? ;and, 2) What types of fish should introduce into the two tanks once the move has been made so that I can make them more filled and aesthetically pleasing?
P.S. Sorry this was so long-winded.
