The first coral is a very yellow spongy feeling. Hubby found it sticking to some live rock rubble in the back chamber of our 12 gal nano.
Any ideas on an identification?

And the next thing, not sure if it's a clam or something. Our 12 gal nano is only 2 months old, and I've noticed this in a crevice of one of our live rocks. It is closed during lights-off and after the lights have been on for a while, it opens up. The pics don't show it very well, but it has translucent feathery things around the opening top and bottom. It is about the size of a pinky finger nail.
Any ideas on this one?
