Hi, I was wondering if there are any fish( other than corydoras and guppies;) ) that can be put in with guppies and corydoras with little or no chance of aggression? Alot of people say mollies can but others say they may eat guppies once fully grown. I hope to find a freshwater fish that can tolerate a little salt and is small, completely peaceful, unique looking, and can live in reasonably hard water. Thanks for any help. I love this site and everyone in it! :cool2:

What size tank? There are quite a few fish that will get along with corys and guppies, so mainly it depends on how much room you have :-)

dojo loach, kuli loack, zebra danio, leopard danio, pearl danio, farowela twig catfish (non-aggresive, good looking pleco substitute), bloodfid tetra, common uppside-down catfish, x-ray tetra, small rapheal catfish, platy, blackskirt tetra, whiteskirt tetra, scissortail, white clouds, pigmy rasbora, harlequin rasbora, hatchet fish, neon tetra, glo-light tetra, cardinal tetra, swordtail. the possibillitys are endless.

Long fin zebras :D

well I have a school of guppys in with 5 chinease algae eaters 1 large ,shrimps, loaches(5zebra)(3yoyo)(5kuhli)(red tail zebra)(horseface) sharks(ruby) & 1 shark (black shark) is 18 inches long but its a 90 gallon & hes friendly. 4 black skirt tetras & 4 serpae(not sure if surpae eat guppys) keep the guppys from overpopulating, but only go after new fry & well theres not even a chance for most of them the black skirts are always aware of the guppys & alert @ all times as there are several large females that are always breeding . ottocats ,dwarf aquatic frogs, theres a 3 inch bamboo shrimp that could catch anything but never seen any of them go for live food (IMO) all are safe except the tetras but tetras have such small mouths only the fry are @ risk.

I have a small school of Harlequin Rasboras in with my Corys. They are good looking fish and very active and interesting to watch.

Chris, this your tank is almost exactly what I want. I have a 29 gallon and would like smaller #s of the fish like yours-the shrimp and+ a few guppies (either them or the betta). Are your betta and all your other fish completly peaceful? Thanks!
