im processing a load of new root wood that ive been gathering,this stuff is incredible. amazing detail, alot of it has embeded river rock that the wood has grown around & there are pieces to fit anything from a 12g nano cube on up!

ok here a few new pieces of the "bonsai rootwood" if your looking for something other than sticks that resemble something your dog carried in here you go! this stuff is truly unique, accent pcs, small or large center pieces, intact root systems, embeded river rock(none of the rock seen in these pcs is glued in, the wood has grown around it naturaly) . im harvesting and processing this stuff as fast as possible i will have small accent pcs & nano trees mounted to slate availble later this week.

how can you cure peices this large? cuz ive got some interesting peices id love to cure and sell

well austinpetemo, most of the pieces that i harvest have been submerged for 30plus years when i gather them.so they are virtualy tanin free. then they get pressure washed & cleaned with highpressure steam to remove any loose organic matter or contaminents. as for curing i just dont fool around with wood that isnt well aged & hasnt been submerged for long periods (not days or months but years) go to the blog on my website thedriftwoodstore.com and check out the article titled driftwood basics it should give you some answers to your questions.
