Unknown, Unexpected Plant....I'm confused

I have a 10 gallon tank that I just filled with water and added gravel and some fake plants about 3 weeks ago. I washed the gravel and live plants extremely well with hot water. The tank is upstairs and there haven't been any open windows since it's cold outside. I haven't added any live plants or water, or gravel from any established tanks.

Today I noticed a little sprout, there is something growing in my tank. It is bright gree, about 1/2 inch tall, one stem with 2 leaves about the size of grinded pepper, at the tip. Any idea what it could be?? And how could it have gotten in the tank to grow considering where the tank's located??

Any ideas?? I think I will just let it grow and see what it ends up being.

This happens on occasion with new substrate when first added to a tank, most notably in Flourite which I've seen frequently.
Usually they don't live long as they are usually terrestrial or other types that don't grow well in a submersed environment.
I would definitely leave it alone and see what comes of it however. We would all be interested to hear how it does. Any plant that goes through what it's gone through to grow deserves a shot at life.
The seed probably got into the substrate at some time during the packing process.
