I got my snails yesterday and am absolutly loving them! And I added them to my 10 gallon tank. one of the darn guppies is bugging them so I wanted to put them in my other big tank. how do I unstick them? I do not want to hurt them.

I always gently slide them along the glass until they let go and pull into their shell. Or I gently touch their foot and they will pull in.
I agree, Just dont' pull them off. If you gently slide them around a little, they usually pull inside pretty quickly.
If they're being ornery and won't unstick themselves (this usually happens to me with my hand-tame snails and especially the ones with the largest feet - foots?) I either gently slide a fingernail under the edge of their foot to break the suction, or some people use an old credit card. Just be nice. 
3 refused to go, so I left them. I will see if they want to play tonight. the one that did go into the bog tank is having fun eating and roaming. I love these guys!!
