Reading this again, I see I missed your point. I've seen the dragon parade "festivals", etc...

You don't see anything 'hinting' at the bizarre ?

Since the paintings can be proven to be real, what is the reason for the 'flying discs'?

Paintings.....a painter taking poetic license, so to speak. Could be planets or other astronomical and/or meteorological (now, I know that didn't spell right!) phenoms that they're painting.

I sometimes think too, that folks forget that original ideas didn't actually originate in the 20th century.....Just modern technology gets the ideas spreading around the world faster and faster.

People also used to think the world was flat and that angered river gods could sacrifice your children. Going by some old drawings might not get you too far!!

Sorry about Peter Jennings illness, but he really did a good "circus review" on that 'special' not too long ago.

I should have known better to think he would do any in depth research and reporting on that topic.

That means the paintings are nonsense.
Maybe the painters knew much more than we think. It is interesting to know how far the ufo situation goes back in time.

Um, I notice noone has mentioned yet that it could have been a spotlight from a club . . . Rome is extremely polluted, I'm certain anyone could shine a strong light up onto the cloud cover to get this effect. I didn't want to tell anyone - but it also may have been my ride. The mothership called this afternoon and asked where I was when they came for me. :dance2:
