Ok, so it's been about 3 or 4 months since I completely switched from river rock to this marble/shale type rock and as you can since the previous post all rock is almost completely brown (which for some reason not too long ago the mbuna started grazing, I only thought they liked green algae, but go figure).

I've also planted some java fern about 3 or 4 weeks ago (after seeing Coler's and AfroCichlid's tanks :) ) and it is already rooting itself to the rocks and growing more roots on the leaves themselves (with only one 25 watt 50/50 bulb and 3-5 hours of light a day).
