Thanks reefbum i appreciate the kind regards i am using a Nikon D40 DSLR with two different lens 200x55mm which is excellent at long distance and my shorter lens which is great for getting close up and personal 55x18mm plus the advantage of several features the camera posses.. Not to mention i do a lot of cases that envolve photo taking as evidence as a Task Force Sgt.. take care my friend..
 
Cool, I have the same camera and realized if you use a remote speed flash from above the tank you would be surprised by the depth of realism you can get. I am using a cheaper speed flash and a hot shoe cable and shooting in manual with iso-200.
 
cool i need that speed flash device hehehe yeah sometimes i am using the manual but mostly i use the auto settings..
 
Gee, taking evidence photos and no speedlight, sounds like a good work expense.
Just let me know, I can give you some pointers for shooting with the D-40.
