How long did it take for your discus to eat the tetra bits?
Mine do not show any interest in flake foods at all.

The Tetra Color Bits are slow sinking. Some stay on top for awhile though.. Mine also didn't take to flake food. Blood worms, frozen but thawed, seemed to sink slowly like the Color Bits. I guess that's why they prefer it to flakes. Plus there's more 'substance' in the Color Bits compared to flake food. Maybe they just taste better than flake food too...

Those discus are truly impressive. Hans: If 125g Joe's wife is half as beatiful as those fish, he is a lucky man. Haha, best of luck with the tank, it looks great.

An average saltwater 125 gallon set-up costs more than I have spent on this Discus tank...

Thanks! I have almost found a good balance of light, CO2, and ferts to keep algae at a minimum. Well, at this time there is a good balance.... The lights are on around 9 hours daily.
Water changes are 30% weekly with R/O deionized water.
