The only fish stores we have in town are Petsmart and a grocery/department store called Meijer. Neither accept fish from customers.
well perhaps ill give it a shot in my 4g ghetto qt tank (its made of a big clear storrage box with a small submersible filter in it . i can always feed the babies to my knives if it doesnt work so i dont contaminate my endler livestock

This is when genetics is awesome.
Anything that has the same genus (in this case, Poecilia) but different species (reticulata for guppies, wingei for Endler's, sphenops or latipinna for mollies) can crossbreed, but the resulting offspring will most likely be sterile. That's why Mollies and Guppies can interbreed, but Platies (genus Xiphophorus) cannot interbreed with either of those fish. Platies can interbreed with swords though.
